Bienvenidos!Welcome and thank you for visiting our site. We are the Carty Family and we are independent missionaries in Costa Rica with a ministry focused on the Guaymi Indigenous People Group. We love Jesus and are excited about sharing his love with each of these beautiful people. Please pray with us for the the Guaymi. Pray that Jesus will be real and alive to them. Pray that they will see Him as the answer to each of their problems. Pray that we will live our lives in such a manner that others will not see us, but will see the glory and love of Jesus Christ!
As independent missionaries we have the freedom to taylor our ministry as the Holy Spirit leads. The Lord has lead us to a multi pronged approach to reaching the Guaymi people that includes meeting physical needs, spiritual needs, and educational needs. Doors have been opened for us not only to minister to the Guaymi on their reservation, but also in San Vito, the city that we live in. A large part of our ministry is providing opportunities for groups to come work with the Guaymi on short-term mission trips. We have been blessed by several churches and individuals who the Lord has sent to work with us and would encourage you to prayerfully consider how the Lord might have you join in His work.
