San Vito and the Coto Brus reservation are located in the mountains of southern Costa Rica. When visiting you will be between 2000 and 4000 feet above sea level. Days are normally in the low to mid 80's with nights dropping into the upper 50's to 60's. During all times of the year rain should be expected but it is much wetter in the months of May - November. The coastal areas of the country tend to be much warmer and more humid.
